Dinesh came into contact with AICAPD in 2002 as a street child in Madangir area in New Delhi. He was just then and 8th class passed from MCD school hence became a dropout. He approached us and thereafter we admitted him in NIOSs Secondary course and in the evening he used to attend the classes at Mobile school of AICAPD and now he has cleared XIIth and also ITI and successfully placed at Dainik Jagaran Press at NOIDA. His father so is a mason says, I never imagined that my son Dinesh who did not have any interest in reading before he joined classes of AICAPD and I am surprised that how he got in touch with this NGO who has changed his life totally. Now he is earning good and helping family as there was no income source. Dinesh adds, After getting inspiration from AICAPD, I have enrolled 21 street children/ dropouts for Secondary / Sr. Secondary course as they did not know as to from where they can get further education and most of them were girls and 19 of them have successfully cleared their exams. Some girls are running their boutiques / beautyparlours in Madangir. |
